Licensing conditions for the conduct of tour operator activities have changed

The Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine dated May 22, 2019, No. 420 "On Amendments to the Licensing Conditions for the Carrying Out of Tour Operator's Activities" made changes regarding the qualification requirements of employees, in particular, the head of the tour operator, its branch, other separated subdivision must have a higher education, which is confirmed by the document on higher education education, experience in tourism in the field of tourism not less than three years or higher education in the field of tourism for the first (bachelor), second (master), third (educational / scientific / educational-creative) or scientific levels higher education, as evidenced by a certificate of higher education. In addition, the tour operator must have at least 30 percent of the work experience in the field of tourism for at least three years, or higher education in the field of tourism for the first (bachelor), second (master), third (educational, scientific / educational creative) or academic levels of higher education, as evidenced by the document on higher education. Documents on higher education issued by foreign higher education institutions should be recognized in Ukraine in accordance with the established procedure.
